2010                   perfect                                                           briarpatch studios/louisville, ky

strong song writing and beautifully executed instrumentations make this all-acoustic, metro-
folk format his most impactful cd to date. with a stellar cast of supporting musicians, ky’s
soaring vocals take off on songs like “if i ever spoke my mind” and “when to let go”. accordion,
mandolin and cello are punctuated with hand slapping bongos, pie pans and thighs on “the
dark” and “the moon”. incredible!!!

i cd

2002                   i                            play it cool studios & topaz studios/boulder, co

the second recording session with mark oblinger reveals strong, poetic lyricism
and a folk/jazz flavored treatment in the instrumentation. “reality” and “skin
deep” contain signature ky vocal-diddle and the thought provoking “if
god” is still confusing people to this day.

balancing act

1999                   balancing act                             play it cool records/boulder, co

the lyrics of this cd unfold in story-telling fashion with jazz/pop vocals over a
sixties-infused bosa nova accompaniment. the first recording partnership with
former firefall  band member mark oblinger contains the catchy earworm “cliché”
and the disturbing ballad “father, fathered child.”
